IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL .CA DOMAIN NAME REGISTRANTS (Nov 08, 2000)

1:52pm November 8, 2000 - CIRA (the Canadian Internet Registration Authority) has announced that it has temporarily halted all NEW real-time .CA domain registrations until it has completed processing .CA domains in the advance registration queue.
.CA domain name orders placed after 12am Nov.8/00 are being queued until CIRA has completed processing of advance registration orders. .CA domain names placed before 12am Nov.8/00 are not yet final and are currently being processed, final confirmations of registration are pending from CIRA.
New .CA domain name registrations processed are not final. Confirmation of your .CA domain name registration order is acknowledgement of your position in the advance .CA registration queue only.
In the event that the .CA domain name(s) you advance register is not confirmed as a final registration by CIRA, we will refund $37.50 + GST for each .CA domain name advance registered and charged to your credit card. New Media Data Marketing, Inc. and SearchBC.Com Communications are not liable for failure to obtain a final .CA domain registration confirmation.
Advance .CA registrations are final and non-refundable until confirmation of non-registration by CIRA.
Completing the .ca registration process using the SearchBC.com online registry does not guarantee final confirmation of the domain name, but does guarantee a position in the advance registration queue.
Please complete the .ca registration process if you wish to advance register a .ca domain name.
