ONLINE AUCTION SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR BC CHARITY AND HOSTED BY SEARCHBC.COM (Sep 17, 2001)

The Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Upper Fraser Valley recieved sponsorship from SearchBC.com and Idea Resource Group to develop an internet system for their Harvest Festival Online Auction concluding on September 22nd in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

The recently launched online auction system was engineered and produced by the Idea Resource Group and then hosted by SearchBC.com. The main thrust of the system was to provide the charity with the ability to recieve, record and publish current bids for sponsor provided items in their annual fundraising auction. The Harvest Online Auction system can be accessed at their site located at http://www.bigbrothersandbigsisters.ca/ .
