BCTV & SEARCHBC SPOTLIGHT BC WEB SITES (Jun 26, 1999)

BCTV and SearchBC have agreed to an interactive partnership that will ‘spotlight’ British Columbia web sites. This web collaboration will provide BCTV’s newly renovated site at www.TVforBC.com with search results from SearchBC’s comprehensive internet directory. On-line users will be able to do keyword searching or add new BC web sites through the SearchBC interface on the BCTV site.
SearchBC is one of many exciting new developments in the re-vamped BCTV web site produced by the Blue Zone Group. “As part of the site re-launch we will be reviewing all the new features on the BCTV Noon News on Monday (June 28th)”, says Jamie Ollivier from Blue Zone.
“It’s exciting to see a media mogul like BCTV make a huge commitment to BC’s on-line community” says SearchBC Director, Marie Phillips-Bednash. She also notes, “The benefits to SearchBC listings and supporters are infinite. This is a great demonstration of the media convergence that’s happening out there”.
